Igniting the potential of the next generation of Anambra sons across Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Purpose

YES! exists to ensure that no young person of Anambra heritage in the West Midlands grows up without access to mentorship, community role models and the tools to thrive.

Who it's for

Young people aged 11–25 of Anambra heritage, and friends of the community, based in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands — whether they are in secondary school, further education, university or early career.

Programme pillars

Skills development

Practical workshops in communication, digital skills, finance and personal development.

Mentorship

One-to-one mentoring with professionals from within the AUF community.

Leadership

Youth-led projects and leadership training rooted in Igbo values.

Career development

CV clinics, interview prep, university guidance and industry insight days.

Future entrepreneurship

A forthcoming enterprise track for aspiring young founders.

Volunteering

Structured volunteer opportunities that build character and community.
