About AUF

A united community, deliberately built.

Anambra United Forum is more than a social gathering. We are a professionally governed community organisation, founded in Birmingham, that exists to represent, uplift and connect people of Anambra heritage across the West Midlands.

Our history

AUF was formed by Anambra sons living in Birmingham who recognised that a strong, professionally-organised forum was needed — one that could hold cultural identity in one hand and civic responsibility in the other. From informal gatherings the organisation grew into a constituted body with an elected Executive Committee, active initiatives and a long-term vision.

Why AUF exists

To be a home away from home. To ensure our young people are not adrift from their heritage. To stand with families in celebration and in sorrow. To speak with one voice in Birmingham's civic landscape. And to leave the next generation more than we inherited.
