Legacy project
An AUF Centre for Youth & Community Excellence.
A permanent home in Birmingham — a place for meetings, mentorship, culture and celebration that outlasts any single generation of leadership.
Why Birmingham needs it
The West Midlands is home to a large and growing Anambra population. While hired venues serve our immediate needs, they cannot host the weekly rhythm of mentoring, cultural transmission and civic activity that a thriving community requires. A dedicated centre changes what is possible.
Community benefits
- • A permanent meeting home for AUF and its wings.
- • Weekly space for YES! mentoring and workshops.
- • Cultural transmission — language, music, tradition.
- • Support hub for new arrivals and families.
- • A civic asset serving the wider Birmingham community.
